When paint gets on your windows, you have to make sure you take the proper steps to remove it so you don’t damage your windows. The most important thing to remember is you NEVER want to take scrape any window with a blade while it is dry. This will scratch your glass up. Simply using a few drops of dish soap and some water is all you will need for wetting the glass. When using a straight blade razor blade, always use a new blade when starting the job. For glass that has more tiny speckles of overspray, you can also consider using a 0000 grade steel wool. This grade will not scratch your glass. Just make sure not to use this on any tinted windows. Always hold a blade at a 45 degree angle and make strokes going downward. Make sure after each pass you lift the blade. Do not drag back and forth. We hope these tips help you with removing any paint on your windows. If you're still not comfortable with this task then make sure to call a professional for help.
